The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) has a great opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst. This fulltime position is considered hybrid with some onsite requirements in our Mendota Heights, Minnesota office.


The Senior Business Analysts (BA) is part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and serves as a strategic partner to business and technology stakeholders, focusing on understanding and documenting business needs, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.


The Senior BA works closely with and complements the work of other members of the PMO by operating at a broader business level and ensuring alignment across initiatives.


Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Business Analyst Essentials

  • Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing documentation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand current-state and future-state process impacts.
  • Conduct impact assessments and support business case development for proposed initiatives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify needs, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.
  • Support operational readiness activities, ensuring people and processes are prepared for project deployment and steady state operations.
  • Support change management activities by identifying stakeholder impacts and readiness needs.
  • Assist with and support testing and deployment, including creating test scenarios and reviewing test cases.
  • Provide input into solution evaluation and post-implementation reviews to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Apply and champion PMO standards, tools, and best practices by promoting standardized processes, governance, and documentation across projects.
  • Mentor other PMO members and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or modified as business needs dictate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, business management, or a related field; or equivalent experience and education.
  • Six or more years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business analysis certification (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, or similar).

  • Ability to learn and understand ARRT business processes in detail to help analyze complex business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Identify connections between the in-focus and other business processes or units.
  • Determine how to identify and improve business processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio; and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence, Azure DevOps).

Physical Demands

Close Visual Acuity: Preparing and analyzing data; viewing a computer screen; and extensive reading

Fingering: Typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers

Hearing: Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication

Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

Repetitive Motions: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Pay range is $106,850- $125,706 annually
