We are seekingcustomer-focused, outgoing and compassionate individuals to contactblood donors and schedule appointments in our fast-pacedenvironment.
Service Agents follow scripting and have excellentattention to detail.
WHEREYOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FORGOOD :
Key Responsibilities :
- Contact blood donors by telephone using a dialer system to recruitfor blood donation. Use information from multiple computer systemssimultaneously to target appropriate blood drives for donor, updatedonor records as needed and to record outcomes of calls.
- Schedule appointments while providing positive service experienceto maximize donor show rates.
- Follow a process and appropriate scripting for conducting a callwith a donor, to ensure a consistent donor experience.
- Maintain daily production standard, including phone calls andappointments per hour, to meet established collection goals.
- Develop a working knowledge of donor criteria to inform donors ofeligibility and reduce deferral rates.
- Maintain accurate records of donors / groups contacted andappointments scheduled to avoid errors, poor customer relations andto ensure sufficient donor availability.
- May develop new leads and implement new donor recruitment programsto ensure an increased donor base and an adequate blood supply.
- Respond to or transfer inbound calls to the appropriate party.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- May coordinate support of community and business donor groups toassure a positive image of the American Red Cross.

This is a Remote Position; however, you must live in the Tucson, AZarea. The first day and possibly 2 - 3 days will be at the TucsonCall Center.

Pay Information : $15.50 PerHour, Plus Shift Differential
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :
- Must be able to commit to90 days of uninterrupted employment.(100% attendancerequired).
- Must be able to commit to one of theschedules referenced above.
- High school diplomaor equivalent required (GED).
- Minimum one yearof related experience (telemarketing, customer service or callcenter) is required.
- Prior sales or negotiationexperience is a plus.
- Proficient in usingmultiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-pacedenvironment to quickly and efficiently meet donor serviceneeds.
- Excellent customer service andproblem-solving skills required.
- Effectiveverbal communication skills, the ability to work with potentiallydifficult customers, and work in a fast-paced call centerenvironment is required.
- Desire to advocate andlearn more about blood donations with an interest in promotingupwards.
- If a prior employee or contractor,must be eligible forrehire.
- Combinationof candidate's education and general experience satisfiesrequirements so long as the total years equate to description'sminimum education and general experience years combined (Managementexperience cannot besubstituted).
