What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at American Pride Power Equipment, Inc?
American Pride is looking for a Parts Counter Specialist with people skills, sales skills, a professional attitude and appearance. You must have computer skills, be detail oriented, be able to lift 50-lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods of time as well as have a real desire to help customers. A mechanical background is a plus, but the ability to multi-task is crucial. Prior experience in working a parts department is required.
Daily responsibilities include
- Greet our guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Over the counter parts sales
- Phone and online parts requests
- Receiving parts stock orders
- Fulfilling service department parts needs
- Participate in rolling inventory checks and replenishment
- Willingness to assist with responsibilities outside of the parts department
