Fleet/ Safety Coordinator - Winter Springs, FL (Entry-Level)

Job Responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage fleet assets (renewal of registrations, servicing, tracking) to ensure they stay current.
2. Field requests for having vehicles serviced, review quotes, and coordinate drop-offs and pick-ups for maintenance.
3. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and track preventative maintenance inspections for all fleet trucks.
4. Monitor and manage the Company’s GPS system, which includes but is not limited to, monitoring speed for all trucks, ensuring no personal usage, and tracking all overall Fleet safety practices.
5. Help implement policies and procedures for fleet and safety.
6. Track the cost of repairs for damaged trucks, working with HR and field leaders to hold Teammates accountable for preventable loss/damage incidents that occur.
7. Assist with implementing weekly safety discussions with the field. Ensure all markets are completing and submitting signed checklists of what was discussed and the team members who were present.
8. Coordinate safety classes between vendors and team members to ensure safety is a top priority.
9. Assist with developing and implementing Company safety policies as it relates to the safe operation of equipment.
10. Coordinate auto incident claims by working with the Carrier and Broker.
11. Communicate clearly in written emails and through all verbal interactions.
12. Demonstrate ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
13. Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise solid judgement by making decisions based upon timely and creative analyses.

Requirements:Job Requirements
- AA or AS degree or equivalent experience
- Fleet background is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills necessary for both internal communication and communicating with clients
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Programs and Google docs, with NetSuite being an added benefit
- Desire to constantly learn and work with new systems to continually enhance efficiency and effectiveness
