American Post Frame Supply is looking for a dependable Class A CDL driver to deliver post frame building packages, lumber, and construction materials throughout the Midwest/South.
You'll be responsible for delivering complete building packages, unloading with a Moffett forklift, helping prepare orders in the yard, and representing our company professionally at customer job sites.
Most deliveries allow you to be home most nights, with only occasional overnight trips.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A flatbed truck
- Deliver lumber and complete pole barn packages
- Unload materials using a Moffett (piggyback) forklift
- Secure and tarp loads as needed
- Assist with loading and picking customer orders in the yard
- Occasionally operate company dump trucks to haul aggregate and other materials
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Forklift or Moffett experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors
- Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
- Willing to help wherever needed around the yard when not driving
