Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool maintenance and cleaning. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, making it essential for candidates to have a background in service technician roles.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools
- Inspect pool equipment for proper operation and make necessary repairs
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks
- Balance pool chemicals to ensure water quality and safety
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide effective solutions
- Document service performed on each pool visit for client records
- Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules and any necessary repairs
Qualifications
- Have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to swim
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment
- Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks
- Previous experience as a service technician is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients
- Must be willing to work in different weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
