Job Summary:
As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and executing sales strategies to achieve American Pharmacies' sales goals. You will manage key national accounts, build strong relationships, and work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and business success. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities, optimizing sales processes, and fostering long-term partnerships with pharmacy owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and potential areas for growth.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met and delivering exceptional customer service. Act as the primary point of contact for national accounts.
- New Business Development: Drive the sales pipeline by identifying and converting leads into members. Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process to maximize revenue, improve compliance, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Customer Engagement & Solutions: Work closely with customers to understand their needs and present tailored solutions that enhance their business success. Collaborate with internal teams to provide value-driven offerings.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities, customer solutions, and industry trends. Use this data to inform sales decisions and strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal departments—including operations, marketing, legal, and legislative teams—to align sales efforts with company initiatives and enhance the overall value proposition.
- Sales Reporting & Analytics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor sales performance, and provide regular reports and insights to leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing key accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to execute successful sales strategies.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive business decisions.
- Experience working remotely and traveling routinely to prospect and customer meetings.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other sales-related tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in pharmacy, drug wholesale or healthcare-related industries.
- Experience managing remote accounts or working with national clients.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
