Cremer Florist is looking for an experienced floral designer to join our team and help continue a tradition of quality and customer care that has served the community since 1879.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, creative, and experienced flower designer who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced floral shop environment. This role focuses on fresh floral arrangement design for everyday orders, sympathy work, holidays, weddings, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Design fresh floral arrangements for all occasions
• Prepare and process incoming flowers and supplies
• Assist customers with floral selections and orders
• Maintain floral cooler and display areas
• Support holiday and event production during busy seasons
• Complete daily reports and basic administrative duties
• Comfortable using computers for order processing, scheduling, and customer transactions
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members
• Ensure arrangements meet quality and presentation standards
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Prior fresh flower design experience required
• Ability to create arrangements in a variety of styles
• Friendly and professional customer service skills
• Reliable attendance and flexibility during holidays/event weekends
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Knowledge of flower care and handling preferred
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail

Schedule & Pay

• Flexible part-time schedule
• Approximately 20–25 hours per week
• Weekday availability required
• Availability during holiday and event weekends required
• Pay starts at $15/hour based on experience
