We are currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking immediate help in our production department.

The Position:

The Plant Manager is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing all manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in accordance with company objectives and customer requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide overall leadership and direction for all plant operations, including printing, bag converting, maintenance, warehousing, and shipping.

· Plan, schedule, and prioritize production runs to meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing labor, materials, and machine utilization.

· Monitor daily production performance, including throughput, scrap, downtime, and labor, and take corrective actions to achieve plant goals.

· Ensure all safety policies and OSHA requirements are followed; lead safety meetings, audits, and corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.

· Maintain high product quality by reviewing quality checks, investigating nonconformances, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

· Coach, develop, and evaluate supervisors, leads, and operators; provide regular feedback and address performance or attendance issues as needed.

· Collaborate with Maintenance to plan and prioritize preventative and corrective maintenance in order to minimize unplanned downtime.

· Maintain accurate production, labor, and inventory records, and review reports to drive cost control and efficiency improvements.

· Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization across the plant.

· Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready facility that reflects company standards and customer expectations.

· Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of plant personnel to ensure adequate staffing and skill development.

· All duties as assigned by management.

Position Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

· 5-10 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in printing, packaging, or paper converting is a plus.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.

· Ability to read and interpret production reports, work orders, safety guidelines, and quality specifications.

· Comfortable using computers for production reporting, email, and basic spreadsheets.

· Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of plant safety practices and OSHA requirements, with a strong focus on maintaining a safe workplace.

· Ability to walk and stand on the production floor for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Pay: $110, $140,000.00 per year
