- Supervise, schedule, and direct the daily work of the equipment maintenance team.
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are executed effectively to minimize downtime.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and qualification of new production equipment.
- Review equipment performance data and lead initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to technicians to support professional growth.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement with supply chain.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment uptime, process quality, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in budget planning and cost control for maintenance operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably solar or semiconductor.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting, robotics, and automated manufacturing systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts if required.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to high-tech machinery.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and working in confined spaces or elevated areas.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
