Role Description
The Warehouse Shipping Manager is an integral on-site, full-time role based in Hutchinson, KS. The Manager will oversee daily shipping, receiving, and inventory management operations while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. Responsibilities include leading a team, coordinating shipping and receiving schedules, monitoring inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring timely communication with customers regarding shipping operations. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Management processes.
- Demonstrated competency in Customer Service and team collaboration.
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation and familiarity with warehouse equipment usage.
- Possession of a CDL is strongly encouraged.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to analyze and solve logistical and operational challenges proactively.
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or shipping environment.
