Position Overview
The Inside Sales Executive drives revenue by selling planned maintenance (PM) programs and additional service opportunities for overhead doors, dock levelers, safety equipment, and related industrial products. Using customer data and targeted lead lists this role proactively engages customers to convert prospects into scheduled work.
Inside Sales plays a critical part in keeping customers’ facilities safe, compliant, and operational while fueling downstream service and repair revenue. This role collaborates closely with Outside Sales, Operations, and PM Representatives to support quoting accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Sales Execution & Lead Conversion
- Conduct high-volume outreach to prospects and customers to sell PM programs for doors, dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock seals/shelters, operators, safety equipment, etc...
- Transition complex reactive service opportunities or larger project leads to Outside Sales.
- Educate customers on the importance of life-safety compliance, OSHA considerations, equipment uptime, and lifecycle cost savings.
Pipeline & Systems Management
- Track all outreach, quotes, and follow-ups within NetSuite and/or CRM.
- Leverage dashboards to identify and action lead opportunities/targets, including inactive customers, expired PM contracts, incomplete proposals, high-value targets, etc...
- Develop accurate and timely proposals, ensuring accuracy of part pricing, and proper scoping of repairs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Partner with Outside Sales to streamline account handoffs and ensure customer expectations are aligned.
- Communicate customer feedback, competitive insights, and market patterns to leadership.
- Participate in weekly sales huddles to review goals, pipeline, and targeted opportunities.
Customer Engagement
- Re-engage past customers with lapsed service history to restore them into the service cycle.
- Deliver clear, professional communication emphasizing safety, reliability, and operational continuity.
- Maintain strong relationships by providing consistent and proactive follow-up.
Performance Metrics
- Sales volume and revenue.
- Quote follow-up rate and conversion percentage.
- Activity volume (calls, emails, contacts).
- NetSuite pipeline accuracy (stages, notes, documentation).
- Contribution to downstream service and repair revenue.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- 3 years in an inside sales role or related function
- High proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite products
- Experience using a CRM preferred
