What You'll Do
As our Overhead Door & Dock Mechanic/Installer, you'll be in the field doing meaningful, skilled work every day:
- Install, repair, and maintain overhead doors, loading dock equipment, and industrial door systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Use hand and power tools effectively across a variety of job sites
- Build genuine relationships with customers through excellent on-site service
- Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time on each job
What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in overhead door or dock equipment installation and repair (preferred)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Experience with welding and fabrication (a plus!)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- A team-first mindset with sharp communication skills
