Certified Caregiver/Med Tech

Gilbert, AZ
8 Hour Shift Details: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m./ 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Responsibilities:
- Follow each resident's individualized care plan by providing assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, etc.)
- Provides medication administration services to the residents as determined by community policy and state regulations
- Maintains proper labeling and storage of medications according to community policy and procedures
- Obtains and records resident's vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, weight, etc.) as directed
- Escort residents to activities
- Maintains current and accurate resident charts
- Orders medications, as needed, per community policy and regulation
- Communicate with oncoming shift to ensure follow through of duties
- Build positive family and POA relationships to ensure customer's satisfaction
Required Qualifications:
- Arizona Caregiver Certification
- CPR/1st Aid Card
- Food Handler's Card
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Passion to serve seniors
- Ability to relate well to residents and their families
- Demonstrates good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Self-starter, creative, organized, and professional
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
