The Data Governance team is looking for a dedicated and high-performing Business Analyst that supports key initiatives of the Data Governance Office (DGO.) This position works across the various functions of the DGO serving as the project manager for efforts assuring a coordinated, efficient, and on-schedule approach to data governance. This function also works across the Enterprise to gather business data and analytical needs and support the execution of data governance.

What You Will Do
- Provides overall administrative support to the DGO.
- Documents and organizes work efforts.
- Manages calendars/schedules meetings.
- Provides logistical support and manages all arrangements for all onsite meetings.
- Prepares agendas and distributes these and supporting materials prior to meetings.
- Prepares and distributes minutes.
- Keeps the team on task by creating and maintaining tracking documents for existing and planned work efforts, including timelines, next steps, and key deliverables, and maintenance of the Dev Ops board.
- Works with the Office of General Counsel, Data Privacy Data Director and Analyst and other DGO staff to review and catalog current and needed data privacy policies and procedures and data assets.
- Provides support for the development of policies, standards, and procedures needed to assure adherence to GDPR and any USA privacy regulations and PCI standards.
- In conjunction with the Office of General Counsel and DGO staff, develops a regular schedule for review of data policies and procedures.
- Manages the process to handle Data Subject Access Requests
- Monitors all sources of DSAR requests.
- Assures all needed resources are notified of the request.
- Maintains records of all requests and documents responses of actions
- Follows up to assure response and execution of DSAR by all areas of the Enterprise.
- Assures customers receive proper communications upon receipt and execution of requests
- Supports assigned business unit data subject matter experts (SMEs.)
- Works with assigned SMEs to educate and train on data literacy.
- Works with assigned SMEs to understand data and policy needs and elevate as needed to DGO or DGC.
- Works with assigned SMEs to assure new data policies approved by the DGC are communicated and executed at the business level.
- Collaborates with Data Analysts in the scheduling and creation of agendas and materials for regular meetings with SMEs.
- Presents at the SME meetings as designated.
- Serves as a key participant in the data analytic and visualization work of the department.
- Participates in the collection, documentation, and prioritization of data analytic and visualization requests from businesses.
- Leads and facilitates requirements discussions with a variety of audiences: one-on-one interviews, small group discussions, collaborative workshops, etc. to elicit/uncover requirements.
- Serves as the key liaison between the analytical and technical functions of the department, assuring a coordinated approach in all efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you bring to ANE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business.
- Minimum of 5 years of conducting business analysis and operational support for multifunctional projects
- Diverse business experience with exposure in operational, financial, or technological areas
- Knowledge of associations a plus.
- Ability to function effectively in the environment of a newly formed department with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
