AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking to hire a Divisional Junior Processor to support the mortgage operations team through pre processing, opening, and documentation workflows throughout the loan lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring loan files are accurate, complete, compliant, and progressing efficiently from application through closing.
Candidates should have experience directly or indirectly related to the mortgage industry and a strong interest in gaining hands on operational experience. Under the guidance of the Divisional Processing Leadership team, the responsibilities of the Divisional Junior Processor include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Loan File Setup & Data Accuracy
- Set up and maintain loan files in Encompass, ensuring accurate entry of borrower, property, realtor, attorney, and insurance information
- Verify borrower identifying information against documentation and flag discrepancies
- Confirm Intent to Proceed dates align with executed disclosures and correct system dates when needed
- Pre-Processing & Opening Support
- Complete USPS and employment address searches
- Order and track third-party services including VOEs, flood certifications, fraud reports, and early compliance checks
- Notify the assigned Loan Processor of any third-party failures or discrepancies
- Assist with government loan requirements (FHA/VA) by coordinating CAIVRS, FHA case numbers, and refinance authorizations as directed
- Title, Attorney & Closing Coordination
- Order title and coordinate with attorneys and title companies for updates, revisions, and outstanding documentation
- Upload title commitments and revised title documents to the appropriate eFolder locations
- Track and update attorney approvals, CPL dates, and document expiration dates
- Add special title instructions as directed and route files to the Collateral Team when conditions are fulfilled
- Confirm loans marked Clear to Close are scheduled with the closing attorney and reflected accurately in the system
- Insurance & Collateral Support
- Track homeowners insurance documentation including binders, declarations, and required coverage details
- Update insurance and tax screens for accuracy and completeness
- Flag missing or insufficient coverage to the Loan Processor
- Document Management & Pipeline Support
- Collect, organize, upload, and index borrower and third-party documentation
- Track outstanding items and follow up with loan officers, borrowers, and vendors as directed
- Maintain clean, audit ready loan files
- Update milestone notes and provide pipeline status support to the operations team
- Compliance & Role Boundaries
- Follow all company, investor, and regulatory documentation requirements
- Escalate discrepancies, delays, or concerns to the Loan Processor promptly
- This role does not analyze income, credit, or assets, make underwriting decisions, or communicate loan approvals or denials
- Complete all Company mandatory trainings within the required timelines
- Previous experience in the mortgage industry, preferably processing loans.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in mortgage systems and document driven environments.
- Willingness to learn mortgage guidelines and workflows.
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain.
