Job Title: Benefits Analyst / Full-Time, Exempt Status

We are looking for a Benefits Analyst who has passion for promoting employee health and well-being, who can evolve our current benefit programs and be an advocate for the American National team. In this position, you will be the expert on benefit offerings, shaping employee experience and driving enhancements that matter.

What You'll Do
- Shape benefits strategies that create a strong and sustainable employee/employer partnership and support a culture of well-being and impactful employee experience
- Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of health and welfare benefit programs (medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, wellness, disability, life, and voluntary benefits)
- Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain relationships with benefit carriers and broker
- Lead annual benefit renewals and plan design changes, evaluating impact and facilitating implementation across all health and well-being programs
- Administer open enrollment end-to-end, coordinating the full life cycle of activities from planning through execution (including HRIS/Dayforce configuration and employee education/training)
- Handle a diverse range of employee inquiries
- Analyze complex data to identify observations, trends, and actionable solutions
- Provide support and guidance on company retirement plans and leave programs
- Navigate benefits compliance filings and reporting (e.g., 1095 forms, 5500 reporting, RxDC reporting)
- Manage program communications and collateral to ensure employees have clear, accessible information and resources
- Partner with HR teams and business stakeholders to address process gaps and improve training and communications
- Associate degree; and relevant benefit work experience
- Actively involved or led a full open enrollment cycle
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with emphasis in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- HR or specialized certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR/CEBS/CBP)
- Strong HRIS benefits module skills; Dayforce preferred
- Excel proficiency (e.g., sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP, and working with large datasets)
- Self-starter who can operate independently and drive processes forward
