JOB TITLE: Floor Technician II - On-site - Bryan/College Station, TX
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance REPORTS TO: Physical Plant Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY: $15-$20 per hour depending on experience
To provide a high standard of cleanliness throughout ADP properties. Be able to follow and complete a checklist of tasks based on an eight-hour day in accordance to MCC and ADP standards. The Floor Technician is responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface VCT and carpet (stripping, waxing, buffing, extraction) areas included are offices, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas.

5. Essential Job Functions
- · Clean assigned areas quickly, neatly, and efficiently.
- · To maintain a neat and clean cart, equipment, storage rooms, and supplies.
- · To maintain a clean and professional appearance. To respect all equipment and property and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage.
- · Document any deficiencies, including mechanical and electrical problems from the areas you clean and report their supervisor.
- · Label and submit lost and found items to the concierge/receptionist.
- · Use of specialized power equipment.
- · Perform preventative maintenance check on all equipment prior to use.
- · Post safety notices for other areas of the space prior to beginning work.
- · Routine mopping, buffing, burnishing.
- · Vacuuming, extracting carpets, wood flooring cleaning polycare and stone grout cleaning.

7. Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is required to sit and reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee must have the ability to multi-task and complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner. This job includes moving large furniture and objects and following safety guidelines to prevent injury to themselves and others. Some equipment and furniture may be cumbersome and requires that a floor technician have excellent dexterity and coordination.
