Banking Center Sales Manager I
Summary: Under the direction of the Area Banking Center Sales Manager or Market Banking Sales Manager, responsible for the overall sales and operations of the banking center(s). Sets sales and client retention strategies to maximize revenues from new and existing clients. Manages and develops banking center staff to ensure operational excellence.
Job Functions:
- Manages all sales, service, operations, and staffing of the banking center
- Accomplish maximization of banking center revenues, sales, customer and associate satisfaction. Set personal sales goal.
- Develop and manage banking center business plan. Operate within budget and minimize losses.
- Responsible for retail loans, mortgage loans, retail and business account opening, and small business loans (up to $100k)
- Maintain banking center’s compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity. Adhere to both internal & external audit requirements.
- Monitor banking center quality levels and coach staff to achieve appropriate levels.
- Assist in coordination of activities with other banking centers and the Bank headquarters.
- Monitor employee activities, assist with problems, and take action to ensure work standards and schedules are maintained.
- Responsible for training and development of banking center associates including, but not limited to, work assignments, meeting completion dates, estimating personnel needs, interpreting and ensuring organizational policies.
- Perform general management duties including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, promotions, and terminations.
- Promote positive bank image within the community which may include representing the bank in local organizations and events.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Education & work experience
- 3 years in banking center retail sales or related management experience (1 year experience as an Assistant Banking Center Manager)
- Internet/Intranet knowledge, expertise with Word, Excel, & Powerpoint
- Platform and/or Teller Leadership a plus
- Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations state and federal
