What You'll Need:

• Current New York State Dental Hygienist license
• 1 years of experience as a dental hygienist
• Solid knowledge of health and safety standards (HIPAA, OSHA)

What You'll Do:

• Help patients feel relaxed and comfortable before and during their visit
• Review health histories and perform oral screenings
• Remove plaque, tartar and stains, and polish teeth
• Apply fluoride and sealants
• Take dental x-rays
• Teach patients good oral hygiene habits they'll actually use
• Document care provided and treatment plans
• Sterilize instruments and equipment
