American Mitigation Solutions LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Restoration Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for inspecting fire and water damage properties, preparing accurate estimates, and managing restoration and reconstruction projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate has experience in insurance restoration, estimating with Xactimate, and coordinating restoration projects while maintaining strong communication with homeowners, adjusters, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties for fire, water, and other property damage
- Prepare detailed restoration estimates using Xactimate
- Develop scopes of work for mitigation and reconstruction projects
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding estimates and project scope
- Manage projects from estimate approval through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and scheduling
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality workmanship
- Maintain project documentation including estimates, photos, and change orders
- Provide excellent customer service to homeowners throughout the restoration process
Qualifications
- Experience as a restoration estimator or project manager in fire, water, or property damage restoration
- Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software preferred
- Knowledge of insurance restoration processes and claim estimating
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Preferred Experience
- Fire and water damage restoration estimating
- Working with insurance adjusters and claim documentation
- Construction or restoration project management
- IICRC certifications are a plus
