American Metals Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Support Administrator to assist with daily administrative functions.Duties will include maintaining tracking tools, data entry in an ERP system, running reports and analyzing data. The ideal candidate will have a strong service background, attention to detail, an understanding of technology, amazing organizational skills, and a willingness to be part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team
- Assist with order entry, processing, and tracking to ensure timely fulfillment
- Maintain and update tracking tools and ERP system data with a high level of accuracy
- Generate reports and analyze data to support sales activities and decision-making
- Review contracts and related documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Research accounts to identify key contacts and support lead generation efforts
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales representatives for follow-up
- Serve as a point of contact for the sales department, managing incoming calls and emails
- Perform additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Metals or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
- Problem- solving mindset with the ability to think creatively
