Full job description

We are seeking reliable and versatile candidates to fill Heat Treater positions at a leading Heat-Treating Company in High Point NC.

Competitive Compensation: $18.00 per hour to start depending on qualifications.

Employment Type: Potential for full-time hire

Work Schedule: Second shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Training on 1^st shift.

Location: High Point, NC

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, operate, and maintain heat treat equipment to ensure all components are processed according to production specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct routine hardness testing on processed parts using calibrated equipment, ensuring accurate recording and verification of results.
• Inspect parts during and after the heat treat process to identify defects and report findings to supervision.
• Safely and efficiently handle and stage parts throughout the production process, ensuring proper material flow.
• Operate material handling equipment, including Hoists, forklifts, to move parts and maintain safe work practices.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines related to heat treat operations. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with basic equipment checks or preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Vacuum furnace experience is a plus.
• MTI classes are also a plus.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated motor skills with good hand, eye, and foot coordination.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the position.
• Reliable attendance and ability to meet established scheduling requirements.
