The Role
As our Controller, you are the "Right Hand" of our business operations. You will oversee all financial functions while leading a small, dedicated administrative team. This is a role for a "system-builder" who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Drive company success by overseeing all AP/AR, billing, and general ledger operations.
- Audit & Accuracy: Optimize office efficiency by managing meticulous accounting records, preparing monthly financial reports, and performing internal audits to ensure fiscal health.
- Process Optimization: Streamline office workflows and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the business runs seamlessly at all times.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor administrative assistants, delegating tasks such as order entry, filing, and scanning to ensure maximum department productivity.
Ideal Candidate
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Strongly preferred).
- Experience: 5 years of experience in accounting and/or Office Management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and experience with ERP systems.
- Character: Loyal, honest, and trustworthy. You take and give constructive criticism well and are motivated by the success of the team. Able to wear many hats and take the lead when needed in a fast-paced work environment.
- Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to ownership and staff alike.
Benefits & Schedule
- Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 per year (depending on experience).
- Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday (No nights, no weekends).
