Position Summary
The Address Verification Specialist is a production-based position working to optimize revenue through various processes identified to decrease the number trips written off for missing information. The Trip Enrichment Specialist engages with various teams to build new processes and evaluations that improve the overall revenue for the company.

Position Summary
The Address Verification Specialist is a production-based position working to optimize revenue through various processes identified to decrease the number trips written off for missing information. The Trip Enrichment Specialist engages with various teams to build new processes and evaluations that improve the overall revenue for the company.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Work with patient records to improve data capture of demographic information to limit the number of unbillable trips and associated write-offs.
- Work to identify areas of improvement within the revenue cycle as a function of trip enrichment.
- Create and work new processes that will enhance trip information and will yield improvement in overall revenue.
- Communicate with customers, including facilities and patients, to assist with trip enrichment.
- Assist with report review and quality assurance, as directed.
- Convey an attitude of intolerance for unprofessional behavior.
- Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with AMR professionals (e.g., Operations, Business Development, IT and Finance).
Education/Licensing/Certification: High School diploma or GED required
Experience
- One (1) year work in AMR PODS preferred
- Work experience with computer programs and software preferred
- Work experience with public preferred
- Work experience in medical industry preferred
- Work experience in ambulance industry preferred
- General knowledge of medical and insurance industry terminology preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines related to ambulance billing preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and other critical governmental regulations
