Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory work, and imaging studies
- Educate patients on preventive care, nutrition, wellness, and disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies, healthcare regulations, and quality standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- DEA license preferred or eligible
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
