About the Role
AMA is hiring detail-oriented phlebotomists to perform venipuncture and capillary collections at Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities across the Cordele area. You'll travel between sites, collect and process specimens, and maintain full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws on adult and geriatric patients in LTC settings
- Collect, label, process, and package specimens accurately
- Complete documentation and electronic requisitions
- Maintain infection control, safety, and HIPAA compliance
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Phlebotomy certification & current CPR/BLS certification
- 2-3 years phlebotomy experience (geriatric experience strongly preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred
- LTC phlebotomy experience
- Familiarity with specimen processing and electronic requisition systems
- DOT/OSHA knowledge related to specimen transport
Locations: Kansas City, MO
Physical: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. throughout each shift.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
