Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. Duties
- Construct, repair, and restore structures made of brick, block, stone, and other materials.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing as needed for various projects.
- Execute concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth and durable surfaces.
- Apply caulking and sealants to enhance the durability of structures.
- Collaborate with other trades such as trim carpentry to ensure seamless integration of materials.
- Conduct site assessments and assist in construction estimating for upcoming projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields is essential.
- Knowledge of roof installation techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and finishing processes is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong skills in concrete finishing, caulking, and trim carpentry are advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
