Full job description

American Marine Construction is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors. This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations, maintaining communication, and helping ensure the office runs efficiently.

The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, able to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Manage office emails and correspondence
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Assist with filing, data entry, and document organization
  • Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed
  • Support office staff with administrative tasks
  • Prepare and process invoices and other paperwork
  • Maintain clean and organized reception and office areas
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist with customer service inquiries and follow-up communication

Preferred Skills

  • Must have a friendly and welcoming personality
  • Willing to train the right person
  • QuickBooks experience preferred (not required)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
