What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Maintenance Tech position at American Manufacturing Innovators Inc?
AMI is searching for an individual that is capable of troubleshooting malfunctions and keep CNC machines, support equipment, and facilities in operating condition. This person must be able to interact daily with Engineering and Manufacturing team members to determine priorities regarding maintenance needs. Must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of our team.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities with minimal supervision, using safe techniques and preventive maintenance.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC machine repairs as required.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies in inventory; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Familiar with PLC's, 480 volts, AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics.
- Experience on any of the following equipment a PLUS:
- Machines: Niigata CNC HMC, G & L Boring Mills, Mazak Integrex.
- CNC Controls: Fanuc 15i, Fanuc 16i, Mitsubishi M700, Mazatrol Matrix 2.
- TIG/MIG welding, plasma cutting.
