Key Responsibilities
Inspections: Regularly inspect properties and equipment to identify necessary repairs, safety hazards, and maintenance needs.
Repairs: Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), appliances, fixtures, structures, and equipment.
Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment and systems function correctly.
Groundskeeping: Supervise and be active part of landscaping Team when needed performing tasks such as lawn maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, general property cleanup, and irrigation repairs.
Inventory Management: Track and maintain an inventory of necessary parts, supplies and tools.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients regarding their maintenance needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills to diagnose and repair issues with various building systems and equipment.
Technical Knowledge: Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and landscaping.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety standards and the proper use of tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
Communication: Clear communication skills for reporting on work completed and interacting with customers and managers.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially during emergencies.
Physical Stamina: The role often requires physical exertion, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
