We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will perform welding operations using various equipment and instruments, ensuring high-quality and precise work. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working with metals, capable of working within specified tolerances, and adhere to safety protocols.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
- Understand welding machine operation.
- Perform all functions associated with welding preparation and welding.
- Conduct appropriate quality checks of equipment.
- Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
- Monitors work environment for hazards and maintains healthy ventilation levels to avoid particle or gas inhalation.
Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- TIG welding experience preferred, but not required.
- Must have basic skill set to operate all welding tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a production-oriented environment.
- Must be a team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
