Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils ensuring all items are cleaned to our high standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area including sweeping, mopping, and removing trash.
• Assist kitchen staff with the preparation of ingredients and any other necessary duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Monitor levels of cleaning supplies and communicate needs for restocking to management.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time as well as lift heavy items.
• Team-player attitude with effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
