About the Role We are seeking 1-2 qualified scientists to join our laboratory team supporting our innovative battery recycling operations in Atoka, Oklahoma. The primary function of this role is to support production with timely analytical sample results throughout our ICP-gated production process. Proficient operation of ICP-OES equipment is critical to maintaining smooth production flow and high product quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain ICP-OES and other advanced analytical laboratory equipment
- Conduct analytical testing throughout the production process
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate sample results to support production schedules
- Maintain high quality standards for all products
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- B.S. in Chemistry, Physics, or related field 2-3 years experience, OR
- M.S. in related field 0-1 year experience (preferred), OR
- Ph.D. in related field
- Experience with advanced analytical laboratory equipment (ICP-OES experience preferred)
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude
- Chemical safety awareness and foundational inorganic chemistry knowledge
- Excellent time management abilities
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $65,000-$68,000 annually
- Performance-based salary increases
- Predominantly 3rd shift (10pm-7am), Monday-Friday schedule
- Opportunity for schedule changes as we expand to additional locations
