What You’ll Do
- User & Endpoint Support – Provide customer-centric support for workstation, mobile, and application requests and incidents. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- On-Prem/Cloud Operations – Administer Microsoft 365 services, including identity, access management, security, and cost optimization.
- Network & Security – Configure, support and maintain LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and switch configurations; enforce security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., CIS, NIST).
- Backup & Disaster Recovery – Design and test backup, replication, and DR strategies to meet defined RPO/RTO targets.
- Security Compliance & Auditing – Conduct regular vulnerability scans, coordinate penetration testing, and remediate findings to maintain compliance.
- Automation & Scripting – Develop PowerShell/Bash scripts and leverage configuration management tools to automate routine tasks.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PowerShell/BASH.
- Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune)
- Server/Switch/Firewall/Wi-Fi support (i.e. Dell HyperV server, SonicWall - firewall management, VPN, security services)
- Create and maintain system and end-user documentation, procedures, and policies
- Firm understanding of ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned: Taking on additional responsibilities as required by the role.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications: CompTIA Network /Security , MCSA/MCSE, and/or Azure Administrator (AZ104).
- Scripting in Python, PowerShell Core, or Bash for automation and reporting.
