Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings with excellent serving skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper alcohol serving procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and tab management.
- Experience in catering or food industry environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
