Duties

• Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf care, landscaping, irrigation, and tree care to maintain optimal playing conditions.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of groundskeepers and landscapers, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated workforce.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for lawn care, landscaping projects, construction activities, and routine repairs to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage irrigation systems and water usage efficiently to promote healthy turf and plant life while conserving resources.
• Plan and execute landscaping enhancements, construction projects, and tree care initiatives that enhance course aesthetics and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of the course grounds to identify issues related to landscape maintenance or safety hazards, addressing them promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment usage, and environmental compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture with a strong background in turf management.
• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor environments such as golf courses or large-scale landscaping projects.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, construction practices related to golf course development, tree care techniques, and general gardening skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with maintenance procedures for equipment used in landscape upkeep and construction activities.
• Ability to assess environmental conditions and implement sustainable practices aligned with best industry standards.
• Certifications or training in horticulture, land management, or related fields are highly desirable. Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
