Job Title: Headboard Upholsterer Insider
Department: Upholstery
Location: Plant 3
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt – Hourly Pay
Schedule: M -Th 6 am – 4:30pm & Occassional Fri 6 am – 10 am
Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis

Overview of Responsibilities
- Upholstery Insiders make, repair, or replace upholstery for high end household furniture
- Building Headboards/Rails/Footboards according to specifications
- Apply leather/poly to furniture frames by means of hand tools
- Fit, install, and secure material leather or fabric on wooden frames
- Using manual and powered tools to secure components into place
- Align parts and material to ensure proper assembly
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of furniture Upholsterer Insider experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship
- Ability to work full-time
- Must be flexible to work overtime when required
- Able to stand for 10 hours
- Able to use hand tools/air tools/staple gun for 8 hours
