American Leak Detection is the world leader in non-invasive leak detection and our St. Michael, MN office has an immediate opening for a Leak Detection Technician Assistant. This is a fantastic career opportunity with Paid Training!
Job Responsibilities for the Leak Detection Technician Assistant:
- Assist your Lead Technician to inspect the property
- Will be trained to use highly advanced equipment to locate leaks
- Extend courtesy and thoughtfulness to all customers, remembering we are there to reduce their stress, answer their questions, and solve their problems
- Clearly communicate throughout the day with office dispatch, Lead Technician, and Technician Manager
- Availability: This is a full-time summer position with general working hours from Monday to Friday. Must have availability to complete overtime as required.
Leak Detection Technician Apprentice Qualifications:
- Being able to swim and have good hearing
- Being comfortable with learning and using new technology
- Enjoy working outside in a variety of conditions
- Must be capable of moving or lifting up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with plumbing & pools helpful, but not mandatory
- Neat professional appearance
- Good writing & verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment, company issued shirts, hats and tools to be used on site as well as transportation to and from job site from the St. Michael office location
