Responsible for installing, testing and irrigation and sprinkler applications
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in the installation of new irrigation systems
- Ensures all systems work according to installation standards by performing all required testing
- Operates and monitors timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers
- Provides repairs to irrigation systems as required
- Assists in various irrigation maintenance activities as required
- Provides winterization of irrigation systems as needed
- Assists landscaping crews with installation as needed
- Oversees all irrigation related work tickets and ensures completion in accordance with the schedule
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Position may perform other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year landscape industry experience preferred, not required
- Irrigation experience preferred
- Certifications as required by the state
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to perform all aspects of landscape tasks in a safe manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
