Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled LaunchDarkly Engineer with strong DevOps and Cloud experience to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale feature management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with LaunchDarkly, CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud technologies, and software deployment strategies.
This role will work closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and DevOps teams to enable progressive delivery, feature experimentation, controlled rollouts, and release governance across distributed applications.
Required Skills
- 5 years of Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps experience.
- 2 years of hands-on LaunchDarkly implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of Feature Flags, Progressive Delivery, and Canary Releases.
- Experience integrating LaunchDarkly with enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide LaunchDarkly feature flag solutions.
- Establish feature flag lifecycle management processes.
- Configure environments, projects, teams, and access controls within LaunchDarkly.
- Integrate LaunchDarkly SDKs into web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Build automated deployment and rollback mechanisms using feature flags.
- Implement canary deployments, A/B testing, and progressive rollouts.
- Create governance standards and best practices for feature management.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for LaunchDarkly integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance deployment reliability and release velocity.
- Monitor feature flag performance and ensure platform observability.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to feature management and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor engineering teams on LaunchDarkly adoption and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- LaunchDarkly Certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience with OpenFeature framework.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience implementing experimentation platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in financial services, banking, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to large-scale cloud-native applications serving millions of users.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Golang, Java, .NET, or Node.js development experience.
- Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB, or distributed caching technologies.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Feature experimentation and analytics integrations.
- Cloud-native observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, or Prometheus.
