What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at American IT Solutions Inc?
COMPENSATION: $17 - $20 /hr
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Windows User/Technician
- Must be able to physically lift and move workstation equipment
- Desktop Support in an Enterprise environment preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Windows and PC upgrades.
- Imaging & PC Deployment
- Maintain PC?s and printers; minimizing downtime
- Install PC hardware for end-users
- Analyze and diagnose problems reported by end-users
- Track and update all problem calls through corporate tracking system
- Be asked to assist with other various IT related projects
- Monitor the Desktop Support Queue & help maintain the SLA guidelines set.
- Follow documented process and advise on any improvements
