We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to effectively manage and maintain irrigation system. This position requires hands-on experience with both manual and power tools, as well as a mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Dig trenches for piping installation using hand tools, equipment and power tools.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Educate clients on proper irrigation practices and system maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Operate equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in irrigation maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, equipment, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites.
