Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant at AMERICAN INTERNAL MEDICINE PC, located in Dearborn, MI. The Physician Assistant will perform physical exams, diagnose and treat medical conditions, manage treatment plans, provide patient education, and assist in medical procedures. The role also involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure a high standard of clinical practices.
Qualifications
- Clinical skills and experience in conducting physical exams, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans
- Ability to provide patient education and support health counseling
- Proficiency in medical documentation and using electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Knowledge of internal medicine practices and protocols; experience in a primary care setting is a plus
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Michigan
- Successful completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by ARC-PA and certification by the NCCPA
- BLS/ACLS certification from a recognized provider
