Role Description
This is a contract position role as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the American Institute of Balance. Courses are held in the Tampa FL area as well as other major cities throughout the United States. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational content and training to healthcare professionals in the field of vestibular and concussions. The certification workshops are held on Fridays in Tampa FL and on Saturdays in other major cities in the United States. Responsibilities include availability to teach at least 5 or more workshops during a calendar year, curriculum delivery, facilitating hands-on training sessions, assessing participant performance, and supporting continuing education initiatives. The role also involves staying updated on cutting-edge research and clinical best practices to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to engage and convey complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Teaching and Training, with a demonstrated ability to educate healthcare professionals through lectures and practical sessions.
- A background in vestibular and concussion assessment and rehabilitation is preferred.
- An advanced degree in Audiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Athletic Trainer or a related healthcare field is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Location in the Tampa FL area is perferred but not limited to. Location near major airports around the United States is required.
