Role Overview:
Could you be our next PR Support Representative? American Income Life is looking for a PR Support Representative to join the team!
This role is responsible for handling communications and performing various clerical duties within the department, including issuing and mailing payments and PR related funds, managing PR related accounting and reporting, and providing general office support. The PR Support Representative works directly under the supervision of a Unit Manager and ensures accurate and timely execution of department operations.
This is an onsite position located in Waco, TX.
What You Will Do:
- Handle communication by telephone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
- Issue and mail payments and PR related funds with a high degree of accuracy.
- Handle PR related accounting and reporting.
- Submit supply orders for the department and PR Reps in the field, including ordering and proofing business cards.
- Distribute department mail and retrieve checks from General Accounting.
- Provide general office filing and clerical support as needed.
- Other duties as required by the department.
What You Can Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and various software packages.
- Ability to understand and apply a variety of oral and written instructions.
- Proficient communication skills including proper grammar, word usage, and punctuation - both written and verbal.
Progression Opportunity: This position is eligible for advancement to Senior Support Representative (LG6) upon meeting one of the following criteria:
- One year of experience in the PR Support Representative position (LG5) and successful completion of the LOMA ACS Designation, or successor designation.
- OR Five years of experience in the PR Support Representative position (LG5).
- Must demonstrate fully competent performance for two quarters preceding advancement in all functions performed in the PR Support Representative position (LG5).
