Assistant General Manager (AGM)

American Icon is a craft brewery with a full-service kitchen, dedicated to creating high-quality beer and exceptional food in a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help oversee daily operations, ensuring top-notch customer service and smooth kitchen and bar operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve guest concerns efficiently.
• Manage and train staff, fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, and ordering for both the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and liquor laws.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to enhance menu offerings and ensure quality control.
• Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and labor efficiency.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brewery and restaurant standards.

Qualifications:

• Restaurant and bar experience required (minimum of 3 years in a management role).
• Strong knowledge of food, beer, liquor, and restaurant operations.
• Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
