American Howa Kentucky, Inc. is seeking a full-time Parts Coordinator Technician to join our Engineering/Maintenance team.
Working together with maintenance and engineering departments, ensuring the supply of spare parts within costs and deadlines, avoiding any downtime in production lines and consequent supply failures to the customer.
RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:
Responsible for issuing parts and supplies for the spare parts room inventory as needed, updating the inventory list/PLEX, and replenishing inventory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain and assist in implementation of good housekeeping 5S standards.
- Organize and maintain inventory of the spare parts room and physical inventory of the plant, as needed.
- Perform other duties as required, oversee spare parts room, assist associates with requests and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Collaborate with managers and department leaders to facilitate purchases related to replacement parts.
- Assist maintenance team/engineer team with requests and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Inspect all incoming parts for damage, quality, and accuracy.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Research and place parts orders; ability for basic negotiations with suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts and supplies.
- Must have interpersonal communication and organizational skills (both verbal and written).
- Check for damages or unusable condition of stocked inventory.
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment, flexible hours to meet business needs.
- Basic working knowledge of 2D drawings, basic knowledge of measuring instruments with ruler, caliper and micrometer.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing, stooping, bending, walking, twisting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling daily
- Ability to operate computers
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to lift up to 50Ibs.
EQUIPMENT /TOOLS USED:
- Other process-specific equipment as needed
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience
Other:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database, Word Processing and Spreadsheets

Overtime Is Required (during the week and some weekends)
