Activities Assistant / Life Enrichment Assistant (Part-Time, Weekends Only)

Bring energy, compassion, and creativity to every day! We’re looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant who loves connecting with people and making a difference. This position plays a key role in helping our residents live life to the fullest — both inside and outside the community. About 25% of your time will be spent on transportation, ensuring residents get safely to appointments, outings, and events that keep them active and engaged.
What You’ll Do
- Safely drive our 14-passenger bus for group outings, personal appointments, and community events.
- Assist in planning and leading engaging programs that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
- Welcome new residents and help them feel at home.
- Capture great moments for our community TV displays and social media.
- Coordinate volunteers and support weekend activities.
- Keep our community festive by helping with seasonal and holiday décor.
- Represent American House with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- A clean driving record and confidence driving a 14-passenger bus.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with seniors.
- A creative, organized, and team-oriented approach.
- Comfort using technology like iPads and scheduling tools.
- Availability to work Saturdays and every other weekend.
