Job Title: Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care across various settings. What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patients’ responses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately.
- Perform advanced nursing procedures such as IV infusion and catheterization.
- Engage in triage and emergency response situations to deliver timely interventions.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards to protect patient confidentiality.
Basic qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with EMR systems such as Hospicemd or DSL.
- Background in critical care, emergency medicine, or
- Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
- Previous experience in long-term care settings or hospice and palliative medicine.
